Arts Pathways #Hashtag Lightie workshop - Unit 1 Part D

For the #lightie performance workshop we were able to talk about our aspirations and future and where we want our life to lead up to, we also talked about how first impression can really make a difference and what we need to impress other people at interviews or auditions.
We talked about three main things ;
·Being confident.
·Being friendly and nice regardless what you get as the response at first.
·Being punctual and taking responsibilities.

I think this workshop really helped me in understanding what people are looking for, it made think about the future and where I want it to go . After the workshop there was a performance of the play #lightie written by the young writer

Lynette Linton (Writer, Producer) – director and playwright trained on the StoneCrabs Young Directors Course where she was also awarded the Jack Petchey award. She is also co-founder of production company Black Apron Entertainment and the current Associate Director of the Gate Theatre, where she will be directing, Assata Taught Me by Kalungi Ssebandeke in May 2017.
