Arts Pathways workshop with Ella mesma

Ella Mesma Company is an international touring contemporary dance company based in Newcastle led by Artistic Director Ella Mesma ,Ella Mesma Company was founded in 2011. Ella wanted to create work that reflected her background in Latin, Breaking and Contemporary dance theatre. She is interested in exploring social, cultural identity in the theatre and on the stage.

i really enjoyed the workshop with Ella because i think it was really helpful and it helped me understand how i can express my emotions in dancing . i was also able to independently choreograph a dance piece that had to do with the emotions and relationship through dance. Also i was able to try out things i couldn't do before, for example the back flip turn on the floor and many other challenges.
