i went to watch the show Macbeth at Leyton sixth form College on Wednesday the 1st of February 2017.
The first thing i liked about the show was the way they all stood still and kept the audience in suspense at the beginning of the play, then they all started to move as an ensemble, the pace of the movement they were doing  increased and it made it very entertaining. The energy level was really high so there wasnt a second i felt like switching off .
However there are some parts of the play were i wasnt able to hear what they were saying due to lack of clarity in spoken words or because the tone of voice was very low so it wasn't projected enough for the audience at the back to hear.
i like the fact that even though the play wasn't a musical there able to integrate singing and dance/choreographed movement into it which made it really interesting to watch and because macbeth is a play written by William Shakespeare and its not something people in this modern age will want to watch or will be able to understand but the way they said the words and through their movement and body language  i was able to understand the meaning of the words i have never heard of and also understand the play.
i like the fact that there was a lot of physical theatre  and contact work, the proxemics of the play was really clear , the use of slow motion whilst fighting made it look interesting and nice.
from the play i learnt that we can integrate movements and singing into a play even though its not written in the script. From watching the play i know that clarity and projection is really important.

i would recommend the play because it was very interesting and engaging to watch  its also it a different type of play because of the abstract movements and the message behind it was clear.
